Trimble, 88, of Shelbyville, Ill, passed away at 3:35 p.m. on Monday, January 13, 2025, in Eastview Terrace, Sullivan, Ill. with family by his side.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, Ill. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 20, 2025, and from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Tuesday, both in the funeral home. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, Ill. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be given to Shriner's Hospitals for Children.Mr. Trimble was born on February 15, 1936, in Delavan, Ill, the son of Floyd Lester "Beanie" and Anna Lurean (Nichols) Trimble. At the age of four, Delbert became a Shriner's Kid when he had surgery at a Shriner's Hospital in Chicago to repair a birth defect in his right arm.
