STEWARDSON - Donna B. Michael, 86, of Stewardson passed away at 1:45 a.m. Wednesday (July 17, 2024) at the Lakeland Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Effingham.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 22, at Grace Lutheran Church, Strasburg, with the Rev. Kene Whybrew and the Rev. Michael Mohr officiating. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be in Grace Cemetery, Strasburg. In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials may be given to Grace Lutheran Church or the Lutheran Ladies Aid of Strasburg.Donna was born on May 21, 1938, the daughter of Clarence W. and Bernice I. (Weber) Brandt. She graduated from Stewardson-Strasburg High School in the Class of 1956 and later attended beauty school. Donna married Thomas Wayne "Tom" Michael on July 18, 1958. She was a homemaker and worked at Eisner Food in Urbana.Donna and Tom moved back to Stewardson, where she owned and operated Donna's Beauty Salon, co-owned Michael's Mower Service and helped on the
