Edie Jane Wittenberg June 3, 2010 - July 10, 2024 STRASBURG - Edie Jane Wittenberg, 14, of Strasburg, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior at 6:42 PM Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, IL. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Strasburg, IL, with Rev. Kene Whybrew officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Strasburg, IL. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 in the Stewardson-Strasburg High School gymnasium. Memorials may be given to WSS Sportsbackers or St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Strasburg. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Strasburg, IL. Edie was born on June 3, 2010, in Mattoon, the daughter of John Barry and Courtney Lyn (Hooten) Wittenberg. She was an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Strasburg, Rapid Fire volleyball, and Mattoon Pride softball but was also beyond excited to start her debut for the WSS
