Marilyn Conway, of Herrick, Illinois transitioned from this life to her eternal home with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at 2:35 AM at her residence in Herrick, Illinois surrounded by her loved ones. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, April 25, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Catch The Fire Church, 640 County Highway 22, Cowden, Illinois with Pastor Konner Blackerby, Grandson of Marilyn, officiating. Graveside Services will be directly following and held at Antioch Cemetery in Herrick. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM, also at Catch The Fire Church. Memorials in honor of Marilyn may be made to Catch The Fire Church, Cowden, Illinois.
Marilyn was born April 15, 1947 in Effingham, Illinois to her parents, Edward and Margie McKenzie. Marilyn grew up in Herrick, Illinois graduating from Herrick High School in 1966. In 1966, she married her first husband who was later killed during the Vietnam War and from that union she had her
